Very Cheap

I've had lids for barely two months and four of the six are either cracked, or cracked and falling apart. Apparently they're not capable of holding a vacuum. So what's the point?

Doesn't work on Quilted Crystal Wide-mouth pints

I bought the Easy Fermenter Wide Mouth lids but they won't work on the Ball quilted crystal wide mouth pints. They keep turning. Did I get a bad batch of lids?

I will always use the Easy Fermenter for my ferments

In October 2021 I started a ferment of serrano peppers in salt water in 6 mason jars. In 3 of the jars I used the Easy Fermenter with glass weights. In 2 jars, I used water-based airlocks with glass weights and on 1 jar I used the Ball Fermentation lid with spring. I put these on the shelf and forgot about them. Until yesterday. Almost a year and a half later. I opened the Ball lid first. It was moldy and stunk. Went into the compost. The 2 water-based airlocks were dry (due to my inattention). I opened them; no mold, but yeast. But they didn't smell right, not as bad as with the Ball lid, but still not right. Compost. Then I opened the 3 Easy Fermenters. Some yeast on top, I skimmed it off. They smelled great. I blended them in my Vitamix and they taste great. I got 12+ 5 oz. jars of hot sauce. The air-lock probably would have been ok if I had kept up with the water, but the Easy Fermenters were the clear winner. If I hadn't used them my compost would be much more full of serrano peppers. A big thumbs up!

I bought two sets. Just love them . Easy peasy. So much easier to do my sauerkraut. Try your sauerkraut with a little jalapeno

These fit the tops of just about all of the jars I use to ferment. May need to make another order!

Everything looks good. Looking forward to using the fermentation lids. When I was growing up we made saurkraut in a crock. This looks like an improvement.
