Natural Shower Gel

What could be more luxurious than a long,
hot shower?
When you do it with your own homemade shower gel,
not much. This natural, DIY shower gel will leave you
feeling nourished and healthy. It contains nothing
artificial or harmful for the skin, so it won’t upset skin
or strip it of its natural oils.
The rosehip oil in this natural shower gel soothes and
moisturizes, while the vitamin E nourishes and
protects your skin from free radicals. Luscious honey is
known to heal scarred and wounded skin. This natural
shower gel will leave your skin glowing and beautiful.
Lavendin oils is included in the kit but you can
customize your shower gel by combining your favorite
essential oils for a smell that really wakes up your soul.
Forgo harsh chemical formulas and opt for this
cruelty-free, homemade gel. The power to change your
shower is in your hands. It’s safe to use on the most
sensitive skin, so lather up!
MATERIALS YOU NEED:
Jar with pump lid (included in kit)
Funnel (included in kit)
Pipettes to count drops (included in kit)
Whisk or mixing spoon
Small, non-reactive bowl
Measuring cup
INGREDIENTS:
2/3 cup castile soap
2 tbsp raw honey (optional)
1 tbsp rosehip oil
15 drops desired essential oils
2 tsp vegetable glycerin
makes one small bottle
Steps
1) Whisk together all ingredients in a
small bowl. To test, smear a bit on your
hand or wash your hands with a tiny bit.
Smell and adjust essential oil amount if
necessary.
Note: For improved drop measuring accuracy we have included a
measuring pipette in the kit. If you would like to use it, you first need to remove the integrated measuring cap from the
essential oil bottle. We have included a cap removal tool to help make this process easier.
2) Prepare the jar with pump lid. Empty the
mixture into the jar, apply label and
enjoy.
3) To use, just hop in the shower, squirt a
nickel-sized amount onto a loofah,
washcloth, or onto your hands, and
suds up! Rinse and repeat as often as
you desire!
