Leave your skin feeling young and fresh with this toning lotion.

This is the everyday moisturizer that your skin needs — it will clarify, brighten, and hydrate your skin. The chamomile hydrosol in this tonic contributes to an overall toning of the skin and moisturizes when left to soak in. The grapefruit seed extract preserves the properties of this light lotion, extending its shelf life to a month.

The best part of making your own moisturizing water? You decide on the aromatherapy boost you want, just by substituting different essential oils.

Geranium is the perfect oil for a detoxifying and uplifting scent. Bergamot is refreshing and can help uplift one’s mood. Lavender is perfect for creating a calm scent and has great antibacterial properties for the skin.

Just have fun and experiment with your oils in the kit.

Once you have made your toner, just spritz and spray your new lotion on the face or the body to refresh, tone and soothe the skin.


MATERIALS YOU NEED:
Mixing Spoon
Mixing bowl
Measuring Spoons
Mini liquid funnel (included in kit)
Pipette to count drops (included in kit)
30 ml spray pump bottle (included in kit)

INGREDIENTS: (Regular Formula)
2 teaspoon (10ml) chamomile hydrosol
2 drops essential oil
5 drops grapefruit seed extract
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon (20 ml) water 

INGREDIENTS: (dry or sensitive skin formula)
1 teaspoon (5ml) chamomile hydrosol
1 drop essential oil
5 drops grapefruit seed extract
1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoon (25 ml) water 

INGREDIENTS: (oily skin formula)
1 tablespoon (15 ml) chamomile hydrosol
2 drops essential oil
5 drops grapefruit seed extract
1 tablespoon (15 ml) water

Steps

1)Mix the first three ingredients in a non-reactive container, or directly into the 30ml spray bottle. Mix until homogenized.

2)Add half of the water to 30ml spray pump bottle. Transfer the oil-extract mixture to the bottle, using the small funnel if necessary. Add rest of the water to fill to the top of the bottle.
Homogenize the mixture by shaking well. 

Note: If preferred, you can mix all ingredients directly into the
30ml bottle. A non-reactive mixing container is not required.

For improved drop measuring accuracy we have included a measuring pipette in the kit. If you would like to use it, you first need to remove the integrated measuring cap from the essential oil bottle. We have included a cap removal tool to help make this process easier.

3)To use, spritz directly onto your face or body or onto your hands. Pat on with your fingertips or use a saturated cotton pad. Use daily after cleansing and before any serum and moisturizer.
